Zwei Menschen, zwei Stimmen, viel Gefühl.

Isabell und Jörg machen beide schon ihr Leben lang Musik. Von Schulchören und klassischem Gitarrenunterricht, Gesangsunterricht über Coverbands. Kennengelernt in 2015 über die Musik fanden sie schnell heraus, dass die Harmonie stimmte. Nicht nur musikalisch, sondern auch privat.

2018 gründeten sie Tonland. Das Ziel: Ein eigenes Melodienreich schaffen. Die gleichnamige erste EP wurde veröffentlicht. Ihre selbstgeschriebenen Texte und vielseitigen Melodien sind immer unterlegt von ihrem zweistimmigen Gesang. Die Texte erzählen große und kleine Geschichten, die jeder von uns kennt: Vom grauen Alltag, von rosa Wolken, vom kunterbunten Chaos, das wir Leben nennen.

Authentizität - dafür ist Tonland bekannt. Jeder soll sich mit ihnen identifizieren können. Seit 2018 spielten sie zahlreiche Live-Auftritte, u.a. Schlossgrabenfest Darmstadt oder das Museumsuferfest Frankfurt.

Ihre zweite EP „Nashville Notes“ wurde 2019 von Sean Spence in Nashville auf ihrer Reise durch die USA produziert. Hiermit beweist Tonland, dass deutschsprachige Liedermacher nicht auf eine Stilistik festgelegt sein müssen.

Nach ihrer Babypause folgte 2020 der erste Charterfolg mit der Single "Mein größter Sieg“ (Platz 18 Neuerscheinung der Amazon Pop Charts) und Tonland wurde mit dem 38. Deutschen Rock & Pop Preis als "Beste Pop-Band 2020“ , mit dem Song "Revolution", ausgezeichnet. RTL Hessen berichtete Hessenweit in einem eigenen TV-Bericht.

Ihre Kreativität und das Streben nach Weiterenwicklung lässt das Duo nicht stillstehen. Die EP "2.0" wird 2021 veröffentlicht in Zusammenarbeit mit Nicolas Feelisch (u.a. Helene Fischer). Die Songs zeigen eine Bandbreite aus unterschiedlichen Genres mit anspruchsvollen Texten die einen neuen deutschen Pop etablieren sollen. Live ist Tonland nicht nur als Duo, sondern auch als 4-köpfige Band unterwegs.

2022 beginnt mit der Top 3 Platzierung des Wedding Award Germany im Bereich "Innovation" und der Zusammenarbeit mit Mark Smith (Produzent Johannes Oerding) mit dem sie die Singles „Einfach nur Leben“ und „Wir sind frei“  veröffentlichen.

Tonland steht für Vielfältigkeit, denn sie lassen sich und ihre Musik in kein festes Genre pressen. Das beweist auch ihre neue Single, die am 25.05.2023 erscheint. Seit langem wieder ein englischer Song, der mitreisst, begeistert und motiviert. „UP“ ist der Motivationssong, auf den wir gewartet haben. Der uns auffordert, an uns zu glauben und dem Streben nach „mehr“ nachzugehen.

About us

Two people, two voices, a lot of feeling.

Isabell and Jörg have both been making music their entire lives. From school choirs and classical guitar lessons, singing lessons to cover bands. Met in 2015 through music they quickly found out that the harmony was right. Not only musically, but also privately.

In 2018 they founded Tonland. The goal: to create an own realm of melodies. The first EP of the same name was released. Their self-written texts and varied melodies are always accompanied by their two-part singing. The texts tell stories that we all know: about the gray everyday life, about pink clouds, about the chaos that we call life.

Authenticity - that's what Tonland is known for. Everyone should be able to identify with them. Since 2018 they have played countless live performances, including the Schlossgrabenfest Darmstadt or the Museumsuferfest Frankfurt.

The second EP "Nashville Notes" was produced by Sean Spence in Nashville in 2019 while traveling through the USA. With this, Tonland proves that German-speaking singer-songwriters don't have to be stuck to one style.

After their baby break, the first chart success followed in 2020 with the single „Mein größter Sieg" (18th place new release in the Amazon pop charts) and Tonland was awarded the 38th German Rock & Pop Prize as "Best Pop Band 2020", with the song " Revolution". RTL Hessen reported throughout Hessen in an own TV report.

Their creativity and striving for self development doesn’t let them stand still. The EP „2.0“, released in 2021 in collaboration with Nicolas Feelisch ( producer Helene Fischer).
